On May 11 the Alaska State Senate passed Senate Bill 52 to increase education funding by $175 million for Alaska’s public schools and correspondence programs.
A drug arrest at the Juneau International Airport seized narcotics valued at approximately $110,000 dollars.
Juneau Police Department arrested a man for assault in the 1st degree.
On Saturday the U.S. Forest Service will celebrate World Migratory Bird Day at the Juneau Community Garden.
