It appears 2021 will prove to be a record year on the number of calls for Capital City Fire Rescue.
With the recent snowfall around Juneau, the risk of avalanches has started to increase and Tom Mattise, the Emergency programs manager and avalanche forecaster for the City of Juneau, has started collecting data on that risk.
A federal indictment unsealed Tuesday charges a Canadian man with committing cyberattacks.
