Capital City Classic Final Sights

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Princess Tours Capital City Classic at Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé came to an end on Thursday with the JDHS girls and the Eagle River boys earning tournament championships and players earning all-tournament and specialty awards.

      Thursday Scores - Thunder Mountain Falcons girls 44-27 over the Kotzebue Huskies; Eagle River Wolves boys 73-21 over Kotzebue Huskies; Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé girls 46-12 over Eagle River Wolves; Juneau-Douglas boys 68-48 over West Anchorage Eagles.

      Monday Scores - TMHS girls 48, ERHS 16; ERHS boys 62, WHS 57; JDHS girls 59, KHS 17; JDHS boys 76, KHS 39.

      Tuesday scores - ERHS girls 31, KHS 24; WHS boys 73, KHS 25; JDHS girls 46, TMHS 36; ERHS boys 70, JDHS 62.

      All-Tourney Girls - Kaila Short (Kotzebue), Brooklyn Rollman (Eagle River), Kiara Kookesh (Thunder Mountain), Cailynn Baxter (Thunder Mountain), Ashley Laudert (JDHS), Rebekah Grube (JDHS), Kiyara Miller (JDHS). Most Valuable Player - Skylar Tuckwood (JDHS).

      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Having already clinched the Southeast Conference title and first bid to state, the Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé boys soccer team senior night friendly on Sunday against visiting Ketchikan at Adair Kennedy Field was just that… a “friendly.” They shared the field and had a great time.

      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé Crimson Bears girls and the Thunder Mountain High School Falcons boys won the division one team titles at the Southeast Region V Track & Field Championships, Saturday, on Ketchikan’s Esther Shae Field. Sitka won the DII titles.
