Juneau, Alaska (KINY) Alaska State Troopers said a large amount of fish meal was discarded which attracted bears for a free meal.
Wildlife Troopers cited Nicolle Hogan, 46, with a negligent feeding of game which requires a court appearance in Juneau District Court. The citation carries a fine of $310.
The fish meal was discarded at the end of Lee Court near the intersection of Back Loop Road. Troopers reported the food attracted numerous bears.
