Winter storm could strike tonight

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for Juneau starting at midnight tonight.

    The forecast calls for total snow accumulations of between six and 12 inches of snow between tonight and Tuesday morning.

    The worst of the weather is forecast for Monday morning, and late Monday evening.

    Travel could be difficult during times of heavier snowfall.

    A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
