Wet weather ahead

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The National Weather Service forecasted a wet week for the region with the possibility of flooding and mudslides.

    The worst of the weather could be between Monday evening and Wednesday morning.

    With temperatures rising into the mid-40s, four to six inches of rain is forecast in Juneau and Skagway, six to eight inches in Gustavus, Angoon, and Sitka, and up to ten inches in Pelican over a 36 hour period.

    Forecasters urged listeners to continue following the weather forecasts for updates.
