Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The event is to acknowledge, celebrate and emphasize the importance of wellness and sobriety (wellbriety) through intertribal song and dance.
The Tlingit & Haida’s Tribal Family and Youth Services department will hold their "Wellbreity" gathering at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 23 at the Elizabeth Peratrovich Hall at 320 Willoughby Ave. in downtown.
The event is to acknowledge, celebrate and emphasize the importance of wellness and sobriety (wellbriety) through intertribal song and dance.
The event will include an acknowledgement of participant sobriety time and loved ones lost to substance use/abuse, song and dance from local dance groups, guest speakers, and a meal.
