Wasilla Argument leads to Assault and Injury

    Wasilla, AK (KINY) - An altercation between two individuals in Wasilla led to the arrest of one man and the injury of another.

    On Thursday morning, State Troopers responded to a disturbance in the area of Leopold Loop in Wasilla.

    Investigation revealed that Joseph Hubbard, who is 32-years-old, and the victim had been engaged in a verbal argument that turned physical. The victim had injuries that were consistent with being strangled and was transport to the MatSu Regional Medical Center by ambulance. The victim was treated and released.

    Hubbard was remanded to Matsu Pretrial for Assault 2nd degree DV, Assault 3rd degree DV and Assault 4th degree DV. Hubbard is being held without bail pending arraignment.
