Warrant arrest and sliding truck highlight JPD Bulletin

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A 28-year-old woman was arrested by Juneau Police Monday afternoon on two outstanding warrants for failure to appear for a pre-trial conference.

    The original charges lodged against Jamesia Alice Goode were theft of services and fraud.  She was also charged with false information and jailed at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.  

    It was an exciting trip down Franklin Street for the driver4 of a pickup truck Tuesday morning.

    A bulletin from police said the 2008 Ford pickup operated by a 52-year-old man slid down the street and struck two parked vehicles.

    The bulletin provided no indication of the amount of damage.

    The accident occurred at about 9:30.
