Wade Bryson Officially Files for Assembly

Juneau, AK (KINY) - Wade Bryson who used to run Problem Corner at the Juneau Radio Center and also owns local Subway restaurants has officially filed to run for the District 2 seat on the Assembly.

There are two seats open for District 2, with the other current applicant being Don Habeger.

In a previous interview about the decision to run, Bryson revealed to us that he's been wanting to file for the position for about a decade.

    "I really want to serve."

"I like helping people and I see my service on the Assembly as the way the most people possible."

Bryson says that he wants to promote positive growth in Juneau.

"Nobody wants to see this town erect skyscrapers or another thousand buildings; that's no the vision that I see for Juneau. I do see responsible forward movement growth so that we have a healthy construction industry."

His number one focus though is the drug problem.

"We can throw resources at the side effects of the drug epidemic all day long like additional treatment facilities, additional police officers, but until we stem the tide of the poison that is flowing into our community, the side effects are still going to be there."
