Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A Washington man was sentenced to 10 years of federal prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and heroin in Ketchikan.

24-year-old Spencer Hill, from Blaine, Washington, had his residence in Ketchikan searched in late 2019 as part of an investigation into drugs.

Officers found over three and a half pounds of methamphetamine and almost two pounds of heroin. According to a release from the Alaska US District Attorney's Office, that amount of drugs is equal to more doses than there are residents in Ketchikan.
