Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Work on the Visitor Industry Hardship Grant program administered by the Juneau Chamber of Commerce and the Juneau Economic Development Council is complete.
In a release issued Thursday Council Executive Director Brian Holst said that $800,000 in grant funds were distributed to 81 Juneau businesses with amounts ranging from $1,500 to $24,000.
He said 129 applications were filed.
The funds were part of a $2 Million donation to Juneau from Norwegian Cruise Lines.
