Vaccine clinic planned in Juneau, Senator Kiehl lambasts state rollout

    Juneau Senator Jesse Kiehl

A vaccine clinic is coming soon for those eligible

The City and Borough of Juneau, Juneau Public Health Center, and Bartlett Regional Hospital are planning to host a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic for seniors 65 and up and healthcare workers January 15-17.

The clinic is pending vaccine availability.

If vaccine availability is confirmed, CBJ will notify the public and issue more details on the clinic and how to make an appointment.

Appointment scheduling may be available as early as Friday.

Juneau Senator Jesse Kiehl was happy to hear about the clinic since he said there were almost no appointments to be had in Juneau when the Department of Health and Social Services announced the statewide rollout.  He called it a real disservice to seniors.  He added that the state definitely stumbled.
