Vaccine appointments filled up in 25 minutes time

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Within 25 minutes after the registration period began at Noon Monday, all appointments for the upcoming COVID 19 Vaccine clinic  were booked.

That’s according to a release from City Hall.

 

Eleven-hundred doses were available  for the clinic that will be held at Centennial Hall this Friday through Sunday.

 

The release says additional clinics will be held as more vaccine becomes available.

 

This initial batch was reserved for seniors over the age of 65 and health care workers.

 

The release states that in time, every Juneau resident who wants a COVID-19 vaccine will get one
