Washington, D.C. (KINY) - Post Offices will continue to function during the partial government shutdown.
While we may be in the midst of a partial federal government shutdown, you can count on the U.S. Postal Service delivering your Christmas packages and cards.
According to the official Twitter feed of the USPS, service will not be interrupted during the shutdown. All post offices will remain open for business.
The USPS is an independent federal entity that is funded through the sale of products and services, and not by tax dollars.
