
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - United Way of Southeast Alaska Board of Directors welcomes new members and thanks past members.
United Way of Southeast Alaska is pleased to announce the election of Andy Kline, Marketing Manager at Alaska Seaplanes, to its Board of Directors
Kline previously served as the 2022 United Way of SEAK Workplace Giving Campaign Chair, where he brought his vast knowledge of marketing and community to bear in making this a successful campaign year.
His expertise has been exceptionally effective in generating campaign contributions necessary for the work of United Way and its partner agencies.
He was elected to serve a 3-year term on the Board.
United Way of Southeast Alaska Board of Directors offers thanks to outgoing member, Theresa Belton.
Belton is stepping down from the board after joining in Nov. of 2019 where she has served as the Treasurer.
At the organization’s annual meeting, the board and staff thanked her for her valued contributions and wished her well in her future endeavors.
Loren Jones was elected as Chair of the United Way of Southeast Alaska Board of Directors

His community involvement has included the Juneau World Affairs Council, Hospice and Home Care/Catholic Community Services and he is currently working with the American Red Cross Southeast Alaska offices.
Currently retired, Loren previously worked for the City and Borough of Juneau as an alcohol counselor and for the State of Alaska as Director of the State Division of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.
Loren served nine years of elected service to the City and Borough of Juneau Assembly and on the Alaska Marijuana Control Board for six years.

Emil Mackey transitioned into his role as the Past Chair of the Board.
Emil served as Chair for the 2022 Board year after originally being elected to the Board in Jan. 2021.
He is currently a licensed Insurance Agent and owner of Country Financial, an insurance company affiliated with the Illinois Farm Bureau with other offices serving Alaska since 1980.
Emil is a member of the Juneau School Board.

Warren Russel, Financial Advisor at First Command Financial holds his position as Chair Emeritus on the United Way of Southeast Alaska’s Board of Directors. Warren served as co-chair for the fall 2016 campaign and has been on the Board of Directors for United Way of Southeast Alaska since Jan. 2015, serving as Chair in 2018 and 2019 and as Past Chair through Jan. 2021. The Board wishes to thank Warren for his continued contributions.
United Way of Southeast Alaska Board of Directors Offers Its Thanks to Secretary, Millie Ryan

Millie Ryan holds her position as Secretary on the United Way of Southeast Alaska’s Board of Directors. Mille has served as Secretary to the Board since Jan. 2020. Millie Ryan was originally elected to a two-year term to serve as the large agency representative to the board in 2015 and was re-elected to that seat in 2017.
In 2019 after her retirement from REACH as their Executive Director, Millie was elected to an At-Large seat on the board and re-elected to that position in Jan. 2022.
