UAS Chancellor thinks Ironman will be great for Juneau and her school

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Next year's Ironman competition in Juneau will start and finish on the Auke Lake campus of the University of Alaska Southeast.

That's music to the ears of Chancellor Dr. Karen Carey who was a guest on Action Line.  "It's going to be so great.  They came out to the campus.  They looked all around.  They loved it and we just think it's going to be great for Juneau and great for UAS.  I think we'll get a lot of people interested in coming to UAS as well."

There will be a way to view the competition from afar with the new dock cam UAS installed at Auke Lake. It's really, really beautiful to look at that camera and see all the different things that happen out there on that lake and that dock and I think that with that camera we're going to be able to really watch the Ironman competition up close."
