Twin Lakes Swimming Closed Due to High Bacteria Counts

Juneau, AK (KINY) - The City and Borough of Juneau have asked that residents not swim in the Twin Lakes due to a high bacteria count.

CBJ staff have closed swimming until further notice after a test came back with a high fecal bacteria count. Parks and Recreation periodically test the water at Twin Lakes. They do not recommend swimming in the lakes at this time or allowing pets into the water.
