Trump threats to Alaska Senators draws attention of House member and ABC News

Washington, D. C. (ABC News) - A member of Congress is demanding an investigation after a member of the Trump administration allegedly threatened to punish Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski who voted against the GOP health-care bill.

ABC's Scott Goldberg reports that  Congressman Raul Grijalva says it's a case of political blackmail. The Arizona Democrat, the ranking member on the House Natural Resources committee, says after Senator Murkowski voted against the measure to debate health care, she and fellow Republican Senator Dan Sullivan got threatening calls from Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke.

He reportedly told them Alaska's future with the administration is in jeopardy. Grijalva's office says he's going to ask for a formal investigation. He accuses Zinke of being a "bag man" for the president's political vendettas.
