Troopers: Shots fired in Wasilla over stolen utility trailer

    Wasilla, Alaska (KINY) - Alaska State Troopers have arrested two people in Wasilla after shots were fired during an argument.

    According to a dispatch, on July 4, at about 10:30 p.m., the Alaska State Troopers received a report of an assault in the area of O’Grady Circle in Wasilla.

    Further investigation revealed, Lazlo Toennis, age 42, and Crystal Toennis, age 43, of Wasilla, shot at several individuals after attempting to confront them about a stolen utility trailer.

    Both were arrested, charged with Misconduct Involving a Weapon in the 1st and 2nd degree, and Assault in the 3rd degree.

    They were both remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial without incident and held with no bail.
