
SOLDOTNA, Alaska (AP) — Alaska State Troopers report a Nikiski resident is dead after a collision involving multiple vehicles on the Seward Highway.
KSRM News reported Troopers, in an online dispatch, said the incident occurred Sunday night at mile 45 on the highway.
They added a sedan crossed over the center line and hit a trailer before skidding into the path of a motorhome.
According to the Troopers, Arleigh Bacarella, the 34-year-old driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of the other vehicles received minor injuries.
Troopers said the investigation into the cause continues.
