
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A motorcycle versus vehicle accident on Wednesday in the Mendenhall Valley sent two people to the hospital.
At about 3:35 p.m., dispatch received a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a car on Glacier Spur road near Counterpane Lane. Juneau police officers, an Alaska State Trooper and Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to the scene.
The initial investigation reveals that a silver 2014 Subaru Forester struck a red 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The 64-year-old motorcycle operator and his 61-year-old female passenger were injured and transported by ambulance to Bartlett Regional Hospital.
The 51-year-old female driver of the Subaru was not injured.
The roadway was closed to through traffic due to the investigation.
