Top Hat Concentrates to donate to Southeast Alaska Foodbank

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A Southeast cannabis company has scheduled a donation to the Southeast Alaska Food Bank in Juneau.

Juneau cannabis product manufacturer, Top Hat Concentrates, and cannabis cultivation facility, Top Hat Cannabis, are donating a total of $10,000 to the food bank this coming Friday at 2 p.m.

Top Hat owner John Nemeth said taking care of local charities is a top priority for the THC Alaska brand. He added that feeding people in times like this is something he, and fellow owners Ben Wilcox and Tracy LaBarge, as well as the whole Top Hat team, hold close to their hearts.

"Hopefully this will open the door for others to follow," Nemeth said. "We are very fortunate and grateful we were able to maintain safe operation during the beginning of the pandemic. We think it’s right to share that with others in need. That is why we are donating profits from all sales of our promotional merchandise via our website THCAlaska.com for the rest of 2020.

According to Nemeth, items are limited, but new items will continue to be released throughout the year.
