Three missing after four wheelers go through ice on Kuskokwim River

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Three people remain missing after two four wheelers with five people on board fell through the ice on the Kuskokwim River in Western Alaska Sunday night.

    A dispatch from Alaska State Troopers reports the survivors were recovered and transported to Bethel where they were treated for hypothermia.  

    The search is continuing for the missing people.  Identifications have not been released at this report.

    State Troopers are advising against traveling on the river due to the thin ice conditions.
