Thief stole $85,000 worth of fish

    Ninilchik, Alaska (KINY) Alaska State Troopers are investigating a burglary at a fish processing plant.

    Troopers said an investigation found a male suspect entered the business on August 22 around 3 am.  He stole food and food.  The suspect that got access to the commercial freezer and stole a large amount of fish and crab.

    Garrett Fitzgerald, 53, of Homer was arrested and charged after being located Friday in Soldotna.  Troopers also reported that some of the stolen fish was located and recovered.  The investigation is ongoing.
