Theft of rifle and coins under investigation

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) A burglary in the 8000 block of Poplar Avenue remains under investigation.

    Juneau Police said a 79 year old resident reported his home had been burglarized sometime in the past three weeks.  Among the items stolen were a large amount of cash, an Eisenhower and Sacagawea coins, an AR-7 rifle manufactured by Charter Arms, a Walther P22 pistol, two men's watches, two men's rings, a money clip with a gold nugget, and a tie clip bar with gold nuggets.
