Subpoenas related to the Roddel dismissal approved by a legislative panel

    Legislative Budget and Audit Committee

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Legislative Budget and Audit Committee has approved a motion to issue subpoenas in relation to the decision by the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation Board of Trustees to fire Angela Rodell as its executive director.

    Vice Chair Chris Tuck listed the people and documents that will be subpoenaed in his motion.

    They include Trustees Chair Craig Richards and fellow members Lucinda Mahoney, Bill Moran, Steve Rieger, Corri Feige, and Ethan Schutt..  Corporation staff to be subpoenaed  include Acting CEO and Chief Financial Officer Acting Executive Director Valerie Mertz, Chief Investment Officer Marcus Frampton, Human Resources Manager Chad Brown, and Communications Manager Paula Swanson.   Also listed is Department of Revenue Legislative Liaison Genevieve Wojtusik.

    Documents subject to the committee's subpoena request include corporation and state executive agency records  to be determined by outside counsel.

    The motion was adopted without debate.
