Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) - Dori Stevens will be the next Chief Administrative Officer at PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center.

She starts in her new role on April 13, following a two-week isolation period since arriving on the island.

Stevens began her career in healthcare as a registered nurse, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University. She later went on to earn her Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

In addition, Stevens furthered her professional development with courses in Bioethics from the University of Washington and the completion of Lean Training.

Stevens joins PeaceHealth Ketchikan as health systems across the country face the challenges presented by COVID-19 and as the virus impacts the Ketchikan community.
