Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reported 65 new resident and three non-resident cases of COVID-19 on Thursday.
There were no new resident or non-resident cases reported in Juneau or Southeast Alaska in today's report.
The state now has reported 2,192 resident cases and 492 non-resident cases during this pandemic.
The report also showed 798 people have recovered, a total of 1,375 active cases, and 111 people hospitalized during the pandemic.
Active cases have risen by 410 cases in the past week.
The report went on to show that 36 people are currently hospitalized.
There are 711 people in the hospital and 92 people in intensive care overall. 26 ventilators are currently in use.
New resident cases included 32 in Anchorage, four in Valdez-Cordova, 11 in Fairbanks, three in North Pole, four in Yukon-Koyukuk, one in Palmer, six in Wasilla, one in the Northwest Arctic Borough, and one in the Southeast Fairbanks Census Area.
The state report did not know the location of the three non-resident cases.
