Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - All regions in Alaska remain on high alert for COVID-19 after another large number of COVID-19 cases were reported across the state.
The cases reported Sunday included 15 cases in Juneau, 13 cases in Sitka, five in Ketchikan, two in Metlakatla, and one case in Wrangell.
The most cases were reported in Anchorage, 339, Fairbanks 58, Wasilla 32, Eagle River 30, and Soldotna 25.
The state alert level based on the average daily case rate over 14 days was 68.03 cases per 100,000.
Juneau had a daily case rate of 33.94 cases per 100,000.
Southeast reported 20.6 cases per 100,000.
The state reported 125 people are hospitalized with COVID-19. 23 hospital patients were considered persons under investigation.
The average percentage of daily positive tests was 8.35 percent.
