State expands vaccination guidelines

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Just a little before 10:30 on Wednesday, the State of Alaska announced new eligibility guidelines for the COVID-19 vaccine.

    These include people: 55 years and above, 16 years and above who have certain medical conditions,16-49 who are frontline essential workers, 16 years and up who live in a multigenerational household with 3 or more generations or “skipped” generations (such as a grandchild living with a grandparent or similar).

    According to juneau.org/vaccine as of 11 a.m., there are no appointments available online in the upcoming CBJ vaccination clinic.
