State adds two cases of COVID-19

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reported 370 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed since the pandemic began.

    The Southeast region continued to have 50 cases.

    The report said 263 people have recovered in Alaska, 37 people have been hospitalized, and nine people have died.

    The report said there are 12 people currently hospitalized or under investigation for having symptoms.

    Anchorage continued to have the most cases with 189.

    The report found 19 percent of the 370 cases are of people between the age of 30 and 39, with 17.6 percent between the age of 20 and 29, and 17.8 percent between the ages of 50 and 59.
