Special CBJ Assembly meeting set for Thursday night

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The mayor has called for a special assembly informational meeting to be held Thursday, March 19 at 7 p.m. in the Assembly Chambers.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide updated information to the assembly and the public from the CBJ Emergency Operations Center.

In order to practice social distancing, this meeting will be broadcast via Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/cbjuneau which will also be channeled through the CBJ website at beta.juneau.org/covid-19.

As of 2 p.m. Thursday there are still nine cases diagnosed in Alaska, with none in Juneau.
