Sjoroos Accepts Position as Head Football Coach

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Sjoroos served as the Juneau Douglas High School Crimson Bears head coach from 2009-2013.

    Juneau has a new head football coach.

    In a statement emailed to media outlets, Thunder Mountain High School activities director Jake Jacoby stated that the position of head football coach for the unified Juneau football team has been offered to Rich Sjoroos and that he has accepted the offer.

    Sjoroos served as the Juneau Douglas High School Crimson Bears head coach from 2009-2013.

    He replaces former head coach Randy Quinto, who resigned from the position after the end of last season.
