Six new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Alaska

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services said the state now has had 351 cases.

    The state said there have been nine deaths, 37 people hospitalized, and 228 patients listed as recovered.

    Juneau continues to have 27 cases with 22 cases recovered.

    There are 16 people hospitalized in Alaska for being positive or under investigation for the virus.

    Anchorage has 175 cases, the Kenai Peninsula 19, Kodiak 1, Fairbanks 63,  North Pole 17, Delta Junction 1, Palmer 9, Wasilla 12, Nome 1, Ketchikan 16, Craig 2, Sitka 1 and Bethel 1.

    Petersburg added a fourth case.
