Sitka man sentenced on drug charges

    Sitka, Alaska (KINY) - Kagan Cusick, 33, was sentenced to two years in prison after he pled guilty to charges of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second degree.

    Sitka Police arrested Cusick in July 2017 after he was indicted by a grand jury.

    One charge of misconduct involving a controlled substance was dismissed in the plea agreement.

    Cusick reported was involved in the sale of heroin and crystal methamphetamine, police added.

    He was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Trevor Stephens on November 10.
