Singh Arrested on 2nd Degree Murder Charge

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The indictment was related to a reported domestic violence assault on March 6 in Juneau.

    A Juneau Grand Jury indicted 35-year-old Jamie Diane Moy Singh on Dec. 13 for causing the death of 59-year-old Mary Lou Singh. 

    On Dec. 14, Juneau officers located Jamie and placed her under arrest for the warrant. She was taken to the jail and held on $50,000 bail.

    According to a Juneau Police Department statement, the indictment was related to a reported domestic violence assault on March 6 in Juneau. During the assault, Mary Lou sustained a serious head injury and later died at the hospital in Anchorage.

    Following the Grand Jury indictment, a felony Juneau Alaska State Troopers warrant for Murder in the 2nd degree was issued for Jamie.
