Sense of State Senate commits to suspending motor fuels tax

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The State Senate has approved a Sense of the Senate aimed at providing Alaskans energy relief at the gas pump.

The Sense of the Senate outlines the body's commitment to Alaskans to work together with the House of Representatives and the Governor to temporarily suspend Alaska's motor fuels tax.

The Sense of the Senate was sponsored by Anchorage Senator Elvi Gray-Jackson and co-sponsored by all other senators present during Friday's floor session.
