Juneau, Alaska (KINY) -Dog handlers from SEADOGS, Southeast Alaska Dogs for Ground Search, talked about the need for volunteers while guests on Action Line Tuesday.

Liam Higgins and Stacy Paulson want you to play hide and seek with their dogs.

They said they don't necessarily need dog teams, but they always need people to hide for them.

They said they need to introduce their dogs to new people all the time because they never know who they're going to go and find and they have several different methods of having a dog find a person.

Anyone interested in volunteering can obtain information on the SEADOGS website (https://seadogs907.info/)  There's a form on the website they can fill out.  SEADOGS also has a  Facebook page.

Paulson said it's fun to come and see how the dogs work because every dog is independent, every dog is a little different.
