Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A magnitude 6.1 earthquake was recorded early Sunday morning in the Aleutians.
The quake was recorded at 2:38 a.m. with an epicenter 32 miles west of Amatignak Island and 146 miles west southwest of Adak Island.
No tsunami danger was expected from the quake according to the National Tsunami Warning Center.
