Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Juneau Douglas High School senior will be playing in Fairbanks next year.

Caitlyn Pusich has signed a letter of intent to play for the Lady Nanooks basketball squad at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Pusich, one of the star players for the Lady Crimson Bears, has been a standout player for the past four years with the team.

According to her mother, Catherine Pusich, schools from as far away as Kansas were looking to sign her daughter.

Pusich has not yet declared a major.
