Public Input Needed for Juneau School Board Budget

Juneau, AK (KINY) - Public participation is being sought out by the Juneau School District next week to get input on budget priorities for the 2018-2019 year.

There will be two public forums held, one on Tuesday at 6pm in the THMS Library and one on Wednesday at 6pm at the JDHS library.

The Board of Education uses a zero-based budget building system in order to prioritize spending. This means that higher priority items are funded first as revenue is available. Employees, families, students, and community members are invited to be a part of that conversation.

Budget information, documents and reports can be found on in the Links block.
