Party turns into fire

    St. Mary's, Alaska (KINY) Three were charged by Alaska State Troopers after they broke into a residence and later burned it to the ground.

    Matraca Alick, 27, allegedly set fire to the residence by spreading gasoline around the front door and igniting it with a lighter, Troopers said.

    They also charged Emery Alick, 25, and Nolan Joseph, 26, were charged in the incident.  The home was a total loss.  Alcohol was a factor in the incident,

    Troopers said Matraca Alick was charged with arson in the first degree, and trespass in the first degree.  Emery Alick was charged with furnishing alcohol to a person under 21 in a dry village, trespass in the first degree and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

    Troopers also reported that Joseph was charged with trespass in the first degree.  All three were transported to the Yukon Correctional Center in Bethel to await court appearances.
