Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Brent Bartlett, 28, faces charges of DUI and assault in the third degree.

Juneau Police reported that Bartlett caused a motor vehicle collision near the 4000 block of the North Douglas Highway around 6:30 pm Sunday.

Police said Bartlett was traveling outbound on the highway and rear-ended another truck operated by a 48-year-old Juneau woman.

Police said the female was transported by Capital City Fire Rescue to Bartlett Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injury.

Bartlett was held at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center without bond to await a court appearance.
