No injury in crash on Glacier Highway

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A driver lost control and struck a parked vehicle this afternoon.

Juneau Police and Capital City Fire Rescue crews were dispatched just after 1 pm to a crash off Glacier Highway.

Police said a Toyota Camry operated by Jacob Bean, 22, went out of control, went over a snowbank, into a parking lot and struck a parked vehicle.

Police said there was no one inside the parked Subaru Outback when it was struck.

Bean was cited for driving without a license and failure to exercise due care.

Police urge drivers to use extra caution on the slick highways.  They also ask you to place more space between you and the vehicle in front of you and to make sure your headlights are on and working.
