Nine additional cases of COVID-19 reported

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The case numbers rose from 300 to 309 and Juneau added one more case as the number of COVID-19 cases continued to rise in the state.

    Juneau now has 24 confirmed cases.

    The report said 128 people had recovered, 36 remain hospitalized and nine people have died from the virus.

    Anchorage continued to lead the way in cases with 137.

    Southeast had 43 confirmed cases.

    The state reported 756 people had received tests for COVID-19 in the hospital, 2,055 at public health labs, and 6,639 from private labs.
