Nine additional cases of COVID-19 reported by state

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The number of COVID-19 cases rose from 355 to 364.

    There are six cases in Anchorage, two in the Kenai and one in Fairbanks.

    The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services said 254 people have recovered.

    The state said there are 1,002 hospital beds, 125 ICU beds, and 318 ventilators available.

    Anchorage continued to have the most cases with 185 followed by the Fairbanks North Star Borough with 82, Juneau with 27, the Kenai Peninsula with 21, Ketchikan 16, Wasilla 12, and Palmer nine.
