New exploration VP coming on board for Coeur Mining

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Coeur Mining, Incorporated, the operator of the Kensington Mine near Juneau, will have a new senior vice president of exploration next month.

Aoife (ee-FUH') McGrath will take over from Hans Rasmussen who is retiring.

She recently served as vice president of exploration for the Africa and Middle East region at Barrick Gold Corporation  A company release says she has over 20 years of experience in various exploration and leadership roles in the metals and mining industry.

Rasmussen joined the company in 2013.
