Murder arrest made in Noatak

    Noatak, Alaska (KINY) - A 31 year old woman was beaten to death June 27 inside a home in Noatak, Alaska State Troopers said Tuesday.

    Rhoda Adams was found dead after she and Charlie Bailey, 44, were allegedly beaten by Jim Adams, 41, of Noatak.

    Troopers said they have charged Adams with murder in the first degree and assault in the first degree.

    The reason for the altercation was not released.

    The State Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy in the case.

    Adams was held in jail to await a court appearance.
