Fairbanks, Alaska (KINY) President Donald Trump requested $200 million to build another missile defense interceptor project at Fort Greely.
The fourth project at Fort Greely would be designed to protect the United States in the event of a long range missile being fired toward the country.
The President asked Congress for $4 billion for missile defense and other measures related to the threat posed by North Korea.
All three of Alaska's congressional delegation issued statements of support toward the President's request.
